Richard Davies is the Violations Compliance Manager at Wavecrest Management, where he works to address Environmental Control Board (ECB) violations through the New York City Fire Department (FDNY), Police Department (NYPD), Department of Sanitation (DSNY), Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH), Department of Transportation (DOT), and Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). As the Violations Manager, he meets regularly with City departments, third-party vendors, and property managers and owners to correct and schedule all ECB violations. To his role, Richard brings extensive knowledge of policies impacting New York’s buildings and how these policies apply to Wavecrest, as well as a deep understanding of the mechanics for essential building systems, including plumbing, electrical, maintenance, sprinklers, boilers, soldering, façade work, HVAC, cooking equipment, and more.
Richard has been working in the property management industry since 2008 and has held many important roles, including property manager, project manager, investor relations lead, and member of various mixed-use property development teams across New York City. He joined the Wavecrest team in June 2020 as an Assistant Manager. Given the vast size of Wavecrest’s portfolio, Richard has had the opportunity to provide meaningful insight on many issues and variables impacting urban properties.
