Paul Service Jr. is a General Manager at Williamsburg Houses, a 20-building affordable housing property located in Brooklyn currently undergoing a complete renovation of its 1,620 units. He oversees all office and maintenance staff across the property, including supers, porters, and vendors, and assists residents with resolving complaints and requests.
Paul has been working in the housing industry for over 13 years. He originally joined the Wavecrest team in 2011, when he was hired to prepare an office building for construction as a temporary worker. Over a decade later, he has worked his way up in the company to become a General Manager. Prior to Wavecrest Management, Paul was employed by a men’s shelter where he ran a home for men reentering the community from correctional institutions, providing a place for these individuals to live and executing programming to support them in finding jobs. He uses these experiences to inform his responsibilities in his current role, uplifting low-income residents in New York City.
Paul’s work ethic is guided by his deep sense of empathy for those around him. He prioritizes active listening, supporting his staff through difficult situations and creating learning opportunities for improvement. He is dedicated to nurturing young talent and cultivating a bright future for Wavecrest Management.
