Rosaura Collado is the General Manager of Eastchester Gardens, one of the oldest public housing developments in New York City and the second oldest public housing development in the Bronx. At the 10-building site, she oversees all on-site staff, including the property manager, legal coordinator, receptionist, housing coordinators, supers, handymen, and porters. Rosaura prides herself in maintaining open communication and efficient assistance to Betances’ nearly 3,000 residents. As a General Manager, she has made helping residents and ensuring they all have a safe, clean place to call home her top priority. Rosaura encourages her staff to lead with a positive attitude, champion resident needs, and provide customer service with the utmost excellence.
Rosaura has over 20 years of industry experience, 12 of which have been with Wavecrest. She joined the team from Related Management Company, where she worked as a Property Manager. Previously, she worked at Property Resources Corporation, where she held the roles of Dispatcher and Maintenance Coordinator, Legal Housing Coordinator, and Assistant Property Manager.
Additionally, Rosaura is a Registered Apartment Manager (RAM), a Certified Property Manager (CPM), a Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS), and she is trained in gas safety and rat prevention.
