Joseph Largana is the General Manager of Ocean Bay Apartments, located in Far Rockaway. Queens, where he has worked for seven years. A lifelong problem solver, Joseph leads the 24-building, 1,395-unit complex through all day-to-day operations, including providing customer service to residents, ensuring the efficient execution of repairs, maintaining positive tenant relations, overseeing property staff, and budgeting. Additionally, he prides himself on his mentorship role at Wavecrest, supporting other employees in performing their jobs to the best of their abilities. Joseph is certified by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and has extensive healthcare experience.
Joining the Wavecrest team in 2018, Joseph has spent his entire tenure with the company in the property management division. He started as a Property Manager at Wavecrest before his promotion to General Manager for his excellent work coordinating with the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) on the Ocean Bay Apartments project, the first Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) program conversion in the City. Prior to Wavecrest, Joseph worked in the healthcare industry as a manager in the food service department at a state-funded organization and nursing home. In his previous role, he oversaw a team of staff members, including scheduling and payroll, hiring and firing, and facilitating yearly state inspections of the facility.
