Josh Lu is the RAD Housing & Compliance Manager, where he oversees the leasing agents at Wavecrest’s two RAD properties, Ocean Bay and Betances. At Wavecrest, Josh managed compliance for the largest single site RAD conversion in the United States to date and the first in New York City, led the conversion process at Betances in South Bronx, and developed a strong liaison relationship with NYCHA.
Josh joined Wavecrest in 2014 after several years in IT where he developed a love of analytical problem solving. His daily responsibilities include ensuring tax credit compliance, managing resident compliance and conflict resolution, overseeing the rental processes for new and existing tenants, and educating residents for their yearly certifications. Josh enjoys the challenging and rewarding work of the real estate industry, and is inspired by the opportunity to help improve the lives of others through housing.
