Jodi Ann George is the Communications Director at Wavecrest, where she works directly with the executive management team to develop and implement effective communications strategies. In her role, Jodi Ann adds value to the positive culture Wavecrest creates by ensuring that all internal and external communications, from elevator signage to large resident email campaigns, are uniform and provide clarity.
Through her relationships with community organizations, Jodi Ann serves as an important liaison connecting residents to Wavecrest’s services to ensure that they receive the best treatment possible. She single-handily coordinated Mental Health First Aid Training (Thrive NYC) for all team members to strengthen their understanding of mental health and trauma and heighten customer relations.
Jodi Ann is the intern that never left – she began interning at Wavecrest in 2007 in the Tax Credit Department, and officially joined the team in March 2009. Before holding her current position, Jodi Ann also worked as a Tax Credit Assistant and the Executive Assistant to CFO, Susan Camerata. Born and raised in New York City, she has always strived to improve the living conditions of the city she loves, and Wavecrest grew her passion for connecting vulnerable people with stable housing.
