Jasmine Colon is a Section 8 Manager at Wavecrest Management. In her role, she oversees the Section 8 and Housing Quality Standards Departments and ensures the effective implementation of Wavecrest’s Housing Assistance Program. Her day-to-day responsibilities include completing landlord packages for Section 8 housing assistance, resolving any complaints or issues related to Section 8 programming or lease renewals, staying up to date with changes in Section 8 regulations and guidelines, and supervising her team of staff members.
Jasmine joined the Wavecrest team four years ago as a Section 8 Coordinator. Prior to her work in property management, she organized and executed case manager services as a Service Coordinator and Marketing Coordinator with Metrochildren, a New York City Early Intervention agency. In her current position, Jasmine is dedicated to supporting Wavecrest’s overall mission, vision, and values by collaborating across departments to put residents’ needs first.
